Perfect timing!
I just turned 42 so this audio book was perfect timing to get in shape as I'm starting to get older. It was encouraging to know that I shouldn't let injuries or time taken off to get started again. Also I'm glad I have a trainer now to avoid future injuries and stop bad habits. I probably put stress on my joints from bad habits which I'm now going to stop. Thanks so much for writing and recording this book!

Listen to this audio! RECOMMEND!
I got this audiobook and it just so happened that I needed to strengthen my back on medical advice and using weights had been recommended to me by my physiotherapist. I am just short of 45 years young and I wanted guidance to ensure to don't exacerbate my slipped disk. The advise was very informative and it opened my eyes on what I need to focus on and what I need to avoid.

Valuable book for fitness enthusiasts over 40!
Let's admit it, you can't expect the same results from training as you did in your 20s if you're currently in your 40s.
The book is especially useful for someone looking to train for longevity and have a sustainable training routine to enhance overall health. Training intensity is a highly contested topic among the fitness community. Specifically targeting fitness enthusiasts over 40, the book explains how to moderate training intensity to get the best results for you.
You will learn everything from the kinds of workouts to perform as well as nutrition tips and mindset training needed to achieve your fitness goals. Highly recommend it!

This audiobook saved my atrophic muscles
I have started working out at home to grow particular muscles in my body, to my surprise, the work out actually wasted my muscles. With the help of this book, I realised I’ve been doing it wrong!.. I was actually damaging my muscles as I worked out intensively without making sure my protein intake is enough for building new muscles, and I was missing the complementary vitamins and minerals as well!… Obviously, my favourite part of this book was the section on nutrition and supplements. This book offers so many more information, tips, do’s and don’ts and methods backed by research. Very comprehensive and easy to follow. Narration was not at all boring. Highly recommended!

Great fitness resource
I've been looking for a fitness guide that's age appropriate. It's often difficult to follow the advice of younger trainers when you're fitness levels and joints aren't what they used to be. Knowing that this book has been specifically tailored to my age group gave me more confidence in the advice given. This audio book is exactly what I needed to get my fitness back on point.

Great for women too!
My friend gave me this book and I was immediately intrigued by the cover. A lot of personal trainers I have worked with don't understand the difference in training someone who is over 45 vs. under 45. This author is extremely knowledgeable and focuses on preventing injuries while also building muscle. My favorite part was the section on nutrition and supplements—overal a joy to listen to.

Looking good in your 40s and beyond
We've all been there--we worked out multiple days a week and not seeing any results. Our body change significantly after 30 and 40. Our metabolism slows down. Our hormone changes. Moreover, our flexibility decreases making us more prone to injury during workout. In this book, Bryant provides the solution to the difficulty most people faced when they try to build muscle and improve their fitness after 40. For someone who is on a budget like me, I find the chapter on nutrition and supplements most helpful even though I'm not even 45 yet. You don't have to spend $200+ on supplements every month to get the body you want. The chapters are well-organized and contain many useful advice. If you are hitting a plateau in your workout, I would give this book a listen.
