Summary
Faced with war and the end of the world, Eric - or Halar the First, King of Karvalen - must find a way to stop a godlike entity bent on his destruction. fun read
so this is book 6,
they are still good to listen to great performance (always)
the story slowed a bit from the end of book 5 but it had to.
still very good and looks like it's just going to get better,

Better not be the last one!?
Another amazing novel. Waiting for the next! This series has taken my want for the next book back to being a teenager and being introduced to science-fiction.

emotional whiplash
such a good story there is no doubt. but this story is a sharp 90 degree angle from everything that has been built up in the world and I feel emotional about it as well as angry that Eric doesn't feel more distraught by his losses. also ends on another Cliff hanger mid war which is a trope of this series that just makes you want to scream (in a good way)

the nightlord series is great but
i found this book so difficult to follow. i can only dive into the books for 30 mins at a time, and i understand the mobius is confusing but this is repeatedly difficult to follow until Eric settles into a world. prefer fugue. audio narration is amazing as always

NIGHTLORD MEETS THE TALBOTS...AWESOME
I never thought that these books could get better as they’re great anyway but when amazing characters like Mike Talbot, Tommy and BT from the Mark Tufo Zombie Fallout books appeared it is a awesome mix. Throughout the whole series there has been small tributes to other great books like when the Nightlord came across the turtle and elephants of Terry Pratchetts discworld.
Each book has been a wonderful distraction and I would love to see a follow up to this one.

An exceptional series of books, each of the six novels are as good as or better than the last. I can't recommend this series too highly, in my humble opinion, it is the best vampire, godlike, immortal super hero story I have ever heard.
